When you use Soukly, we collect the following information: • Personal Information: Name, email address • Account Information: Profile details, preferences • Listing Information: Product details, photos (stored as base64 in our PostgreSQL database) • Usage Data: App interactions, device information • Email Verification: We send verification codes via Resend email service We do NOT collect location data or track your physical location.

We use your information to: • Provide and maintain our marketplace services • Process and manage your listings and transactions • Communicate with you about your account and listings • Improve our app and user experience • Ensure security and prevent fraud • Send important updates and notifications

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information: • With other users when you create public listings • With service providers who help us operate the app • When required by law or to protect our rights • In case of business transfer or merger (with notice)

We implement security measures to protect your information: • Password hashing using bcrypt encryption • JWT tokens for secure authentication with refresh tokens • Email verification required (15-minute expiry codes) • Secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon • API hosted on Railway platform • Limited access to personal information We take security seriously but cannot guarantee 100% security of data transmission over the internet.

You have the right to: • Access your personal information • Update or correct your data through the app settings • Delete your account and ALL associated data permanently • When you delete your account, we permanently remove all your data including listings and personal information - no data is retained We do not send marketing communications, only essential account notifications.

We do NOT use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services. • No Google Analytics, Facebook tracking, or similar services • No third-party advertising networks • No user behavior tracking or profiling • We only store essential data needed for the marketplace functionality Your privacy is our priority - we keep data collection to the absolute minimum.

Soukly is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on our website and updating the 'Last updated' date.
